Do you ever wonder who wins those giveaways in the magazines? We the answer is me! I have won twice now and Lucky mag is the mag for me. It's like a little surprise in the mail. I signed up for their give aways every month. One day I received a box in the mail and had no idea who it was from I opened it and there was a letter saying I had won one of their give aways. It was some great lotion and body wash (more on that in another post). Well the other day I received another box in the mail and again I had won this time it was makeup (again more on that once I get a chance to test it out). So I recommend Lucky mag not only for the great ideas and product info, but for their giveaways!

Kohl's Department Stores

I now work at Kohl's and before now I had never really been in one. I'll have to say I'm impressed. They have really great stuff at great prices. So check them out of you have a store in your area. Let me know what you think.

FIJI Natural Artesian Water

Now I'm not one to buy bottle water. we have a great filtration system, however I do buy this water every now and then. I love this water, the taste is so pure and soft. So if you want to treat yorself pick up a bottle one day and give it try you won't be disappointed.

iPod displays a sad iPod icon

Ok so my hubby's IPOD is sad. We have the sad IPOD icon show up on his IPOD. So I went to the apple website and looked up what to do. To my surprise there was nothing I could do. It has to be sent off for service. Well I bought it for him in Dec of 06 so We are still under the 1 year warrenty. I sent in a service request on Wed. and yesterday I received the box I need to ship to them in. They send everything needed to pack it nice and secure. They even send tape to seal the box with and prepaid postage. I have to send it back VIA DHL and they say it will take a week. If they can't fix it they send a new one. It may not be brand new they said it will be just like the one we sent in. I'll be sure to keep ypu posted on how everything goes. But so far things are going great!!!

ANOTHER GREAT BAG FROM DOONEY!

Here is what I really want for Mother's day. I love Dooney and Bourke. However they aren't the cheapest handbag in the world nor are they the most expensive. So I only get one once a year. Well not with this bag. It's only $65.00 and it's very cute. It's made out of Clear flexible acrylic. Which is great for the beach or just a day out and about. What makes this bag great for mother's is we all know we carry stuff for our kids in our handbags. I have crayons, toy cars and them annoying McDonalds toys. Plus a sippy cup of water for when they get thristy right when you are busy shopping. I've had spills, crayon marks, and oil from the little toy cars wheels mess up a handbag before. With this one you can wipe it clean and go on. They have a few differnt patterns this one just happens to be my Fav.

Hello all I'm only going to say this once. Listen carefully I'll be turning 30 on the 5th. There I said it. Ok really I have no issue with turning 30. But to celebrate this milestone in my life the hubby and I are going to celebrate at the Hershey Hotel and Spa. The reservations are made my mom is watching the kids. The great part about it is Hershey PA is only 20 miles from us. So check back to see how many stars I give it. In the mean time enjoy their website. It just makes you crave chocolate.
Here it is the I LOVE THIS PLACE!! For all of you thinking of a great mother’s day gift this would be one. When we arrived they took us to our respected locker rooms, men’s and women’s, you get a nice cozy robe and slippers to wear. The locker rooms are great. They have bottled water and of course Chocolate kisses for you to enjoy. If it's your 1st time there they show around. In the lockers rooms they have a steam room which was a great way to end the day. While waiting to start your treatment you can enjoy one of the many rooms they have. A silent room where it's completely silent in there. A quite room just light chatter. Where they have teas, water, and stuff to snack on and of course chocolate. The inhalation room which is wonderful way to clear you sinus and relax. I did the Hershey Kiss package.

A NEW TYPE OF BARBIE

I have another secret. I LOVE DOONEY AND BOURKE. I try and get a new bag from them every year. That's what I collect. Well for Christmas of 06 I tried to talk my hubby into getting the Barbie doll they came out with. Well needless to say I got earrings instead, bummer! And now the doll I is sold out. Guess it's ebay for me. Anyway back to the story they have a spring 2007 doll coming out. It hasn't been realeased yet but you can sign up to recieve email when it is. You can bet I did I'm not missing out on this one.

I've got a secret. For some unknown reason every since I had kids, I've had issues with my deodorant that I've always used. It seemed to stop working. So I started trying new stuff, every month a new product. I finally found that using men’s deodorant worked however it smelled well like men’s deodorant. Well when I saw the commercial for secrets’ new Clinical Strength deodorant I decided I would give it a try. To my amazement it works and works well. Plus it smells well not like men’s deodorant that's for sure. So 2 thumbs up for secret coming up with a new product, not just a new scent or sparkle deodorant it's been a long time coming but finally a new type of deodorant on the market that works!

HEFTY HANGERS

Being in the military means moving around a lot, and us military folk know that the military can be very picky when is comes to living on base. You have to fix every hole you make in the walls. Well we found these one day while watching QVC and decided to try them. All I can say is Praise the Lord because they work. They leave the smallest little hole in the wall yet they can hold up to 150 lbs. We haven't hung quite that much weight on them but we have hung up pretty big pictures. As you can see below. They don't cost that much and work really well. So if you rent or just aren't that handy pick some up. They're fool proof.
